The GR-2 isn't the best option if you plan on lowering the car. Those are designed as an oe replacement with about 10% stiffer valving to compensate for oe spring rate decrease. Are not valved for a dropped car and do not carry a warranty if used with a lowering spring.

I'd look at Blistein or something more sport based if you plan on dropping it.

I would get something else. Had them on my previous car and I actually blew a shock. Really not designed for a lowered car. If you wanted to stay with KYB you might want to check on the AGX's.

Bilsteins 10 way adjustables just like mine, rides great and they'll last a very long time....
