Hey everyone. I want to replace my front tires which I'm running 255/35/19, I want to go wider with 265/35/19. Is it ok to run 265/35/19 on 9.5" rims? My rear tires are 275/35/19 on 10.5" rims. Please let me know because I'm buying tires from a member here. Thanks.

 

I used to run 265/35/18 on a 18x9.5 rim, its still considered a stretch for the width as 275 is the standard width commonly used on a 9.5-in wide wheel, its barelly noticable though

 

Thanks for your help. But Im afraid that 265/35/19 will be a lil taller than 255/35/19. Will it set the VDC off?

 

it should work okay. I would bump the rear up to 285/35/19 next time though

 

it's fine, what are your offsets? you may rub a lil depending.

 

Well, I dont worry about rubbing. My car is running stock height . The offsets is +19 fronts and +17 rears. I swapped my stock wheels + some cash to get these Volk SF Winning. I might swap them again tomorrow for some Volk LE28N in Gold with Polished lips but they are in 18s.

 

Mod, please close this thread. I've just swapped my set of 19" Volk for a set of 18" Volk. So I no longer need this size tire for the fronts. Thanks everyone.
