Anyone know if the JIC strut tower brace for the 350Z will fit the G35? Have a chance to pick one up but don't want to waste $ if it won't fit. It looks from the picture like it will, but obviously with something like this little measurements are critical and I know the Z and G are different bodies so I wasn't sure.

 

Only way to find out is to try it out man and if it really doesn't work, then you'll have to get rid of it at a local 350Z meet or something. Or you can call JIC directly.

Sorry - ignorant newbie here - What does the strut tower brace do and
where is it installed?

 

Connects between the shock towers front or rear. Stiffens the chassis by decreasing the body flex when cornering. Makes you corner flatter, basically.

Well - I got a hold of JIC and they said they hadn't yet tested it specifically on a G35 coupe - but they thought that it should be the same as a Z and it should fit.

 

Apparantly some months ago, Yuichi tried the 350Z STB on a Coupe and did not fit. You may want to contact him directly for more details. [img]/w3timages/icons/smile.gif[/img]
