Tire problem, plz help!!

whats up guys, i currently have an 04 G35 COUPE AT, the stocks are 18's staggered wheels. I decided to purchase 19" OEM Forged Rims and when i installed them on my car after being balanced and realigned the car makes this horrible noise when i start braking or even when i am not on the pressing the gas that im just letting the car ride, its really annoying unless im going like 50 plus its unbearable.

I took it to a Tireplus and the guy told me that the two front tires the thread is uneven, which i dont understand because i practically bought the tires brand new from someone else they had less than 30 days they showed me the invoice. Now i am stuck! Should i go back to the 18's and purchase new tires for those or should i just change the 2 front 19" tires and hope that it goes away.

My car is not lowered or anything, Now one of my questions is, do these factory oem 19" forged wheels fit my car properly or not, they look like they clear perfect but that noise is driving me nuts!! What would you guys do? HELPP!!

I know this is a long shot, did they remove the alignment studs that come on the '04s hubs? When I bought my first set of Volks I removed them myself just in case the guy installing my wheels missed them....and he would have. That's a start, my second concern would be those second hand tires....are they defective? The person balancing your new tire/wheel combo should have been able to see movement as in an out of round situation....start with the alignment studs....removal is easy! G/L

my '05 had bad tire feathering.. and i eventually got a howling noise from them. would happen when i was coming to a stop or traveling at a low speed. sounds like the tireplus guy is correct.

unless the person u bought the tires from u know and trust 100%... more than likely u got some crappy tires.

Yeah it does have feathering, and the guy that did have them had an 05 too. It surprised the crap out of me because the tires have like 95% thread left so i would have never imagined it. I got crappy tires on my frist craigslist transaction, learned the hard way. No im getting some Bridgestone Potenza RE050A for the front 225/40/19. what do you guys think?
