should i cut or roll my fenders?

I am running 19x10.5 +18 275/35/19 on the rear, dropped on g35 s-techs. Have rubbing issues. Which is better of the two and why?

Roll em. you only get an extra mm or 2 of clearance if you cut them but your fender will still keep most of it's rigidity if you roll it. Just find someone who is good!

i'm just afraid of the paint chipping and body panel warping that i hear so much about. It's hard finding someone I can trust with my car.

Ok so looks like definetly getting my fenders rolled has more benefits over getting it cut. About how long does it take to roll the rear fenders? I want to be prepared and know what to expect.

How much clearance does rolling your fenders give you vs. cutting them? Also when you guys say roll fenders. does it mean to push the 90 degree flap inside so that it's against the inside fenders or does it mean to actually push the entire fenders out even more?

Warping??

Takes about 40-70 min for both rears, depends on the person doing it.

Rolling you maybe get 1-2mm less of clearance, IF you roll it all the way flat.
Yes it means pushing the flap flat against the inside of the fender.
If you get them rolled all the way flat it will push the fender out a lil, but the only noticeable part will be where the fender meets the rear bumper. It's basically impossible to roll that flat without getting a slight flare at the end.

Any more ?'s LMK!!!

I see, I just want to be sure that if I get my fenders rolled that I will positively will not rub no more. I plan on lowering my car even more. I am dropped on g35 s-techs now, with 19x10.5 +18 on 275/35/19 toyo t1r's... Can you tell me if that extra few mm of clearance you get by rolling the rears fix my rubbing issue? I want to be confident that it will correct it before I spend any money on doing this.

I have a lil less than a finger gap in the rears...

you will easily clear the tire even with a mild roll. With a full roll you can even run spacers if you wanted!!!

Then you have 2 peices of sheetmetal that are no longer bonded together and also weaken the whole 1/4 panel area and exposed to elements if not properly dealt with. The seam needs to be closed and prepped and repainted properly. Otherwise youre gonna get all kinds of dirt and moisture up there and make the corrosion process that more rapid

What about if you were getting an air ride suspension? Would you guys reccommend cutting?
