18 or 20

06 6MT with 19" OEM rims

I am going to probably upgrade brakes to Akebonos with Stoptech drilled and slotted rotors.

I am on 2nd set of tires. When it is time to replace existing tires, I want to look at 18" or 20" due to tire costs and options.

I like to way the car rides currently and do not want any rougher or a ride.

I need to make sure whatever I do clears the Akebonos.

I do not plan to lower cause I don't want to deal with all the other stuff (camber kits, shock replacement etc...)

I do not plan to track. Primarily a daily driver.

I don't mind going with a not so low profile.

Not sure how RAS comes into play.

So 20" or 18" and why. Ultimately, just looking for something that looks good to me and allow me to spend less on rubber.

Is 18" even advisable or is 20" better. If you have went the route of downsizing from 19 to 18 on a coupe, could you post some pictures or let me know what your experience has been.

Also, want to spend under $1500 even if that means going pre-owned rims.

Thanks.

I have been shopping around and I think that I want to go with 20's. Cause I have found a place where I can get rims and rubbers for 1500... So, let me know what you decide,

and pics are a must!!
