Poor Damen....he doesn't seem to mind the extra long wait to have iForged repair his wheels.

After 14 weeks (felt like 14 yrs), my wheels FINALLY arrived this evening. They were actually finished after 11 looooooong weeks (w/the backorder of parts and all), but I had them held until I returned from vacation. I was told they would be at my door on Jul 12 when I returned. However, that didn't happen of course. I just recd them today!! I don't even feel like looking at them. I will inspect them in the a.m. before I go get them installed. I'm not even excited anymore.... Blah....

Damen & I ordered the same exact set-up....

Re: DAMEN!! ANY NEWS WITH YOUR ORDER?

i have 3 of my wheels now i'm just waiting on the last rear wheel to come back from the chromer. i know alot of us have been waiting a pretty long time and i'm sorry for the delays. vince was having problems with getting parts to finish alot of the wheels and with parts needing to be sent out to chromer and finisher, well with peak wheels season some of us had to wait longer than some others. i can't fault iforged because my wheels were done in 6 weeks. they just happened to get damaged in mounting the tires and then that's when it all went down hill. i had to get the tires dismounted and send the wheels back to vince to be repaired. vince and his crew went out of there way to have my wheels taken care of as fast as possible. being that they don't do the chroming themselves, they have to wait on someone else. enough explaining, i know once they are on the car i'll know it was all worth the wait.

and kim don't worry you'll feel the same way. just make sure you take them to someone that knows what they are doing. don't allow not metal to come in direct contact with the wheels while mounting the tires or else you'll be in my boat. and i know you don't want that. make sure you leave the plastic on the lips and make sure they use plastic teeth to grab the lips of the wheels while mounting. you can pull the plastic off once the tire is mounted.
