Wheel locating pin

I bought a set of 19" Axis Milano. I install the rear ones with no problem. But at the fronts, I have the wheel locating pin sticking out of the brake rotors that stop the rim to go all the way. Now I have a 5AT coupe and no Brembos. I believe the Brembos ao most of after market rotor dont have this pin. Could it be that I bought the rims for 6MT?

Re: Wheel locating pin

NO.....The pin is from the factory, and is there so you can not put the rear tires on the front of your car......If you can not mount the front rims, you simply have to remove that locator pin lug.......

I think it should come right off....then you should have no problem with your new rims.......

Re: Wheel locating pin

Thanks so much, you made my day. I did just as you said and there I am riding on my new wheels. But without you , I would have never removed this pin or bolt. I thought it has a more important purpose as holding the rotor.
