eibach owners.. camber problems?

i've searched through the threads and found that some have camber problems with the eibachs and some don't. I can't seem to get a clear answer. I have the springs at hand but i don't know if I should install them yet since tires cost a grip same with the camber kits.

so those with the eibach springs, what are you camber specs? and are your tires still wearing out normally?

thanks

Re: eibach owners.. camber problems?

Get the Kit, I'm about to....
I installed my springs about 2 months ago.... my car is lower than I thought it would be and you can really notice that my cambers are EXTREEEMEMEMELY negative...
Anyways, another thing is that the traction is terrible when trying to accelerate. I noticed this when I was took my car to the track yesterday, I was peeling out everytime I tried to launch and I peeled out (not even chirped but peeled out) when I switched to 2nd gear.

Definatly slowed down my 1/4 mile... or I'm just a bad driver, I'll blame it on the cambers.

The camber will be off significantly. I had to use the Kinetix rear arms to correct it. The front is noticably off and has caused the tires to wear prematurely and howl at speeds less than say 50 mph.

Also, no mor car washes, watch out for speed bumps and the like. The G will be LOW.

Re: eibach owners.. camber problems?

Ive had my eibachs on for about a month now. I dont know if it is due to the eibachs, but ever since, my car pulls right. i also peel out when i launch, badly....I havent really looked at my tire wear. I am going to get my alignment done next week when i get a chance, but I doubt I can get my car back to stock specs. Ill probably need to buy a gay camber kit and blow like $500 Sometimes I wonder if the eibachs were evern worh it. But you do notice that the drop tends to be more than eibach says. The drop looks very nice, buy you have to drive really carefully (potholes). I scrape my bumper time to time because vegas roads suck my a$$. Sometimes when i hit my bumper, thats all I think about the rest of the day. lol. so i dunno......ill see if i need a camber kit which I probably will. second think if you want to install your eibachs unless your willing to buy a camber kit.

I spoke to Eibach directly and they are going to release in a weeks or so a camber kit for the G35. Check their website in a week or so. I as well have rear camber issues.

Re: eibach owners.. camber problems?

My camber has been definitely out of spec since installing the Eibach Pro kit. Although I like the look with the Eibachs, I've decided to replace them with JIC FLT-A2 adjustable coilovers (a lot better performance for track/ autocross), so if anyone wants a used Eibach Pro Kit for cheap then PM me.
Either way, I'll have to address the camber issues soon as well.

Get the Kinetix rear camber arms off Ebay they are cheap and at least your rear camber will be in spec (or very close)...mine is on my sedan.
