shaky ride. what could it be?

so a while back, i let my sister drive my car and she got scared when a dog ran into the street and put the car up on the curb. the damage was a badly curbed rim, a damaged corner on my bumper and a messed up wheel hub. ever since then when i get on the highway and i get over 80 mph, the steering wheel starts to shake... alot. i thought it was my spacers so i got hubcentric rings and all that did was bring the vibration speed from starting at 75, to starting at 80. the vibration is weird too. it'll vibrate hard for 20 seconds then completely stop, then start again and cycling between the two. what could it be? i took my spacers off and the vibration came down a notch but i could still feel a little. what could the problem be? TIA

Alignment, your rims and tires need to be rebalanced, or your sister messed something up when she went up on the curb..

Agreed. The rim could be bent, probably needs to be rebalanced, alignment has to be at the very least checked to make sure nothing shifted or bent (it probably did), and another possibility could be the hub... Try borrowing another set of rims that are perfectly balanced (ask a friend?) and see if you still have that problem.

the car was sent in to be fixed and the mechanic put in a new wheel hub, aligned the car but told me my lower control arm on the right front is bent and the car is always going to want to pull a little to the right until i buy a new one. im going to try to get a friend to lend me his rims to see if the rim is a problem. im think the spacer on that wheel might have been damaged as well? who knows. im going to take it one step at a time.
