tenzo type m's dropped on teins, some questions please help!!
hey guys im in the process of purchasing some tenzo type m's 245/35/19f 275/35/19 rear i wanna dropthe car on soem tein springs i wanna know what you guys would recommend. i don't wanna roll any fenders and a camber kit will come in the future, i want to get rid of that ugly gap and have no rubbing issues
thanks for your help.. |
contradictory to what you want to do...
agressive typically means...LOW.spacered out or low offsets...meaning.rolling fenders is a must. and def. a rear camber kit, tires camber pretty bad on stechs.. u should run S-techs...Z, drops it more, G stech seems ok...back isnt dropped as low. i ride g stechs, and my camber in the area is getting bad...1.5inch of camber on the inside... |
thanks bro i just read what i wrote and your right.. it doesn't make sense lol i changed it though.. i just wanna get rid of the gap and have no rubbing issues. so you think z spec s-techs are the way to go? thats what i was thinking i just didn't know if i would be rubbing due to the wider tire size in the rear

I assume you have a coupe from the staggered tire sizes.
There are several choices for springs. The most popular/least expensive/aggresive are the Tein S techs for the Z. The spring rates for the Z more closely match the OEM sport suspension and the drop is pretty low, just under an 1". You will want to get atleast a rear camber kit. Usually you will not be in spec when on S techs, but some people have found that they don't need the camber kit at all. This link shows all the spring/coilover options for our rides and includes the spring rates. https://g35driver.com/forums/brakes-...w-updates.html |
thanks irish.. yea i have an 05 coupe... so you think z spec are the way to go? i just dont' wanna me any mistakes once i buy them its a done deal lol..

Yeah
Do some searching for 350Z Tein S-techs. There's a grip of info and pics of a lot of rides on those springs. I don't think you should have to roll your fenders with the s techs. It depends on the offsets of the wheels, but I personally am not an expert when it comes to offsets. So I really can;t help u there, but I know others on this site can. |
thanks for your help bro.. i was def thinking that teins were the way to go i read alot about them on this forum..i can't wait till i have the funds to complete the deal
|
I dont think you will have to roll the fenders if you go with either tien springs. I have those exact wheels dropped with some BC coilovers with only about a finger gap all around and I do not rub. So in theory you should be fine :)

sweet ! thanks for the info.
any pix of your ride terrible i wanna see how the car sits when its dropped and with the tenzo's i love the way those wheels look |
i have 19" Tenzo Type M's in Charcoal
im dropped on Tein Comfort Sport Coilovers and have a rear ichiba camber kit i did not have to roll front or rear fenders the way im dropped. but im planning on getting wheel spacers and rolling my fenders to make it look hella flush! heres pics of my G with Tenzos TENZO's FTW!! http://i651.photobucket.com/albums/u...ure1010-11.jpg http://i651.photobucket.com/albums/u...ture1016-2.jpg http://i651.photobucket.com/albums/u...ture1009-6.jpg |
I would love to show some photos but I have no camera right now. But for comparison sake it looks pretty close to O HELLA's car , which I must add is SICK!! :icon38:, mine is just a little lower but still no clearance issues except for scraping the ground.
