WTF is on the front hub????

I just tried to test fit my new wheels and for the life of me i couldn't figure out why they wouldn't fit. Then i realized that there is another little stud in between the studs that hold on the wheel on. At the end of it there is a gold nut 12mm. Im guessing it is the inlet to grease the hub?? How should i make the wheels fit if this on the hub? obviously it has to be removed. How do you do it?

LOL, no it's not a grease inlet, it is just a stud so some twatwaffle don't mix up your rear wheels with your front if they are staggered .
You can unscrew that puppy and remove it all together, it will not drain all your grease out, it has no other purpose.
