TPMS or TPS disabled how to?
been searching for a while here on this one..
heard everything from black electrical tape covering the light on the cluster to making a pipe with all 4 sensors in it with 32psi of air pumped into the pipe..
I'm pretty sure you can't just take out the cluster and 'unplug' the blub for the light like you can on older cars either
need to disable the TPMS system
I don't need it. I can check my tire pressures myself.... etc.. aftermarket rims.. don't want to pay the stealership money to reset some bogus thing... etc..
saw a post where a guy said you can cut the white wire running from the Body Control Module (BCM) to the TPMS transmitter and that will cut the light off
I need to know if this works or not and if anyone has tried it
I have an 05 coupe
see attachment in yellow
