Recommended upgrades for OEM pads and rotors?

What are some recommendations for upgrades for OEM brake pads and rotors?

Since I have already purchased wheels, size and clearance issues must be consistent with OEM.

I have had consistent rotor warping problems on an extended Ford (is it OK to use that word on this forum?) van that resulted in several expensive replacements until I finally switched to Raybestos pads and the problem evaporated. But I seem to recall some "not so hot" comments about that brand somewhere on this site.

Other than Brembo, who makes the really good stuff?

I changed to Hawk HPS brake pads and am very happy with these, very quiet and much less brake dust compared to the OEM. For rotors, you can consider Stoptech, Rotora and KVR just to name a few. I have cross-drilled rotors that were ordered from KVR and these were OEM size, so there were no fitment problems and I did not have to change the brake calipers.
