Multiple wheel questions: Offset, Maintainance and Price Quote Request

Anyone,

PlatG recently got a set of Volks that were 19x8.5 and 19x9.5 with +25 and +29 offsets (Front and Rear respectively). I noticed that the wheels did not come as flush with the fenders as I would have liked for my car.

I'm considering purchasing the PIAA Super Rozza (silver) in 19x9.0 and 19x10.0 with both fronts and rears in a +25 offset.

The questions...

1. Will my wheels "stick out" farther than PlatG's because the wheel is 1/2" wider, or will the wheel fit into the wheel well deeper?

2. Also, will the +25 offset stick the rear wheel out further than a +29 offset (I'm thinking it will)?

3. Do you need to tighten the nuts on the back of the 2 and 3 piece wheels? I noticed PlatG's wheels had bolts and nuts holding the 2 pieces together and wondered if you ever had to retighten these.

4. Anyone on here want to offer me a good price on the PIAA Super Rozza's with Toyo T1S 245/35 and 275/35?

The above statements are only my take on the issue. If you disagree with anything I typed then you are 100% right!

1. yes. theoretically, they will stick out about 1/4" more due to the width of the wheel. I have +26 with a 9" wheel and wish they were just a little flusher. Part of the problem is the 1" drop that's increased the camber.
2. yes.
3. no.
4. can't help you there.

Do you have any info on weight or is that not a major factor?

According to PIAA the rim weight is about 26 pounds each, but this doesn't seem right to me considering the 1.0" width difference between the fronts and rears. I also received one price/information quote from an unnamed source who said that the rims weigh about 21 lbs. for the fronts and 23 lbs. for the rears.

As far as weight vs. performance, I'm shying away from performance at the present time. I want something that "looks" good first. Performance may have to come in the form of Forced Induction in the future . Plus if the wheels are a little heavier, it might help in getting the increased power to the ground somewhat... I really don't forsee me doing any bracket racing or open events in autocross, so the real impact (if I do go FI) will be much less noticable. I still haven't made any final decisions as of yet...
