Help with offset.

Ok, my rims apparently don't have the correct offset because my tires are practically sitting inside the body of the car (if that makes sense), more so in the front than in the back.

Is there anything I can buy, like a wheel spacer or something to get rid of the ugliness?

If my description sucks I can try and explain it again.

Re: Help with offset.

I think you will have to explain further? What are the offsets on the wheels you got, that will tell the guys on this forum the most to help you out? Post a picture or four, that always helps! I am no wheel pro, but I know this .02 will help you solve the problem! I do know that if you can avoid spacers, that is best.

Re: Help with offset.

Biggzy: I think I understand what you are saying. I just had some Axis SuperMesh 19x8.5F and 19x9.5R installed on my ride and i'm unhappy with how far *in* they sit. The 8.5 have an offset of +40 while the 9.5 have an offset of +45. Spacers are an option, just not a good one. This issue is best addressed by purchasing the correct offset to being with... You know what they say about hindsight. Good luck.

Re: Help with offset.

Anywhere from basically +35 on up on a coupe is going to be sitting inside the wheel well, they were meant for the sedans and have other models for specific coupes. Get some wheels spacers, depending on how bad it is you can go with a 15mm spacer up to a 30mm...
