Smile need help deciding on wheel size and pin stripe color please!

hey everyone, im deciding to go a different route with the G, gonna make it look a little more aggressive with better offset

i've decide on the forgestar f14 wheels, piano black, now the question is, should i got 19" or 20", also i wanna do pin striping, i will be purchasing the akebono bbk for my car and have it all put on before may, but i want to paint match the bbk and the pin stripe

here is what i have right now, vossen 078 20"

i also photo shopped what it would look like if i had forgestar f14 with red caliper bbk and red pin stripe for one of them and the other is red caliper with orange pinstripe, these or photo shopped from a Porsche 997 c2 but the rotor size are almost the same as the g37 rotor size just about 20mm smaller on the front but same size rear and i am getting stop tech's drilled rotors, and try and picture it is g37 calipers also please note that the forgestar wheels are in matte black, i plan on going piano black

pls vote

If those were my options then I would have to go with the forgestar f14's and the red pinstripe. I don't think red calipers and a orange pinstripe would look all that great.

get the 19's, the faces look more concave than the 20's. 9" wide and up will give you the more concave faces too. should be a stellar upgrade, i love my F14's.

Actually SD, I'm pretty sure the 9" does not have a deep concave thats any different than the sub-9" widths. I think it is only the 10" and 11" widths that come with the deep concave. Anyhow...

Biggz, I have the 19x10 and 19x11 combo on my G and they fit great, nice deep face all around and the piano black looks great and is holding up well. I would suggest 19x10+20 (lowest available) and 19x11+23 (lowest available). I also suggest sticking with the red pinstripe to go with your planned red calipers.

If you like 20's you could still go with them, but I would double check with Forgestar about the available 20" sizes with the deep concave face if you're into that look. Based on their website, there are a lot more width/offset options available for the 20's, so maybe something like 20x9.5+10 and 20x11+20 would work? I would confirm 20" offsets and widths as I have no clue about them.

If you search my post for forgestar you'll find my picture threads. Also make sure you get the ver2 centercaps!

yeah im actually gonna go with 20's because i can get more options of offset and staggered fitment, i was thinking about 20x10.5 and 20x9 for fronts, as for offset, forgestar decides my offset, but they know i want the flush look, not vip

also i was thinking about orange pin stripe and orange calipers, how would that look? i suck at photoshopping haha

i still don't know if i should go with 19" or 20", i think it would be best if i went with 19" because the fact that the spokes go right to the end gives it a bigger look, but then with 20" i get more width sizes and offsets

here is an e55 with piano black and red pinstripe, i think it would look way better on the G

plus he has red bbk which is what i'll be doing

also his bbk and pinstripe are bright red, mine will be a darker red, sorta like candy apple red

well then go with the black/red combo then if thats what you really want, dont let us make the decision for you or you'll end up more confused. I say go for the 20's, you're low enough!

SD, that Merc with the golds is amazing.
