old geez tires..need help
So, if you are old fart, and want comfy ride and the ability to bounce over potholes without worrying about the sidewalls and your next pension check...what tire size do you guys like that will fill out the wheel well, give some treadwidth and not screw up the odometer, avs, etc. Help an old timer with DG coupe and 17's.
Re: old geez tires..need help
The only way to do that would be stick with the 17s. The sidewalls will give more. If you don't like how they look in the wheel wells, then lowering the car is the only option, but that will stiffen up the ride.
Re: old geez tires..need help
Try adding some Michelin Pilot A/S in 235/50 17. Those should help the ride and width problem. To kill the gap...outta luck. Try Tein Flex for $2200...ouch

Re: old geez tires..need help
The Pilot's are still a performance tire. If you want a smoother ride, you might look for matching tires at tirerack in the Touring and Grand Touring tire categories instead of under any of the Performance categories.

Re: old geez tires..need help
I've heard good things about the Turanza LS-V, but I'm not sure if they come in the right sizes for the coupe.
