18" Coupe Wheels on Sedan

I am thinking about upgrading to 18" wheels from the stock 17" for my 2003.5 sedan and want to know if a set of alloy 18" wheels from a 2003 G35 2 dr coupe. 7 spoke will fit good on the sedan. Aren't they a different offset??? Also, what would be a good price to pay for used ones....I found a set for $600 obo. Last question...If I put these on with a bigger wheel in the rear, acan I still lower it a little without rubbing? Thanks -Aaron

tons of info on this in stickies and in the TECH section (wheel & tires).

a "good price" is dependant on the condition of the wheels/tires. if they are mint with good rubber $600 is OK, not great.

The coupe 18s/19s can fit without any problem. Are you lowered? Rubbing depends on the offset, suspension your G and tire size. But you should have no problems at all. You should search the forums for a better idea and pictures installed.

Thx

Thanks for the pics

I think that I am going to offer the guy $400, he says that they are in excellent condition, but I have not talked to him yet to see if they have any tire tread left......

I prefer the Sedan 18's over these, but the 7 Spokes still look good.

I pieced together a set from different sellers online.

As for finding a set in 'mint condition', good luck with that. You're lucky to find any with no curb rash, let alone mint. Mine are in pretty good shape, but I will probably be refinishing them.

The going rate seems to be around $75-$100/wheel for good condition and no tires. To me the tires aren't worth much unless they are almost new. Shipping sucks too so hopefully you can find some locally.

I wonder if that guy knows you can put the same size tires on all four rims and there will be no AWD problems.

The Sedan 18's look pretty good, but the +45 offset sucks. Guess you could just get spacers, but I'm not a fan of spacers.
