245/40/18 VS 245/45/18 sedans

Stock AWD sedan tire size is 215/55/17 thats a 26.31 in diameter.

I'll be running 18x8.5 +33 with coilovers.

I'm looking for a complete square setup this time around. And my main choices were 245/45/18 and 245/40/18.

215/55/17 26.31in
245/45/18 is 26.68in little bigger
245/40/18 is 25.71in little smaller

I'm not sure which way i want to roll with this. 245/45 is the CLOSEST.

Price wise all depends on brand. I'm mainly looking at general UHP $135 VS $136, G-force SS A/S, which is $155 VS $139 or RE760 sport $165 VS $160.

A friend is selling me his RE960 A/S for $100 a peice but 245/40. Not sure which way i want to go at this point. Is there much diffrence in comfort between the 2 sizing? 235/45 is the recommended sizing but i think that is too thin.

if you cant tell by the tire size i'm not into the whole streach, hella flush and whatever movement is going on. I'm mainly interested in form and function.
