Curious Tire Pressure Monitor light?

Hi: I had some after market wheels on for about a year and half now, and even though they lack tire pressure monitors (didn't want to drill holes into my new rims T.T) the indicator light never cared to come on. Until a couple months ago - it only comes on randomly during a relatively long drive. Any explanations?

Thanks

That's normal. If you have no wheel sensors, the light will only come on after about 40 minutes of driving at highway speeds. It will reset after you shut off the car.
