HXS, thanks for people like you who have something good to contribute rather than these others who have nothing better to say. Why even bother?
If it's "stupid" why do you even bother responding? I guess that would make you stupid too then.
eurodre, I thought you were pretty helpful at first, but the more i hear from you, the more you come off as arrogant lately. I think your car is getting to you. What's with the attitude in your replies? Calm down. If my questions annoy you so much, then why do you even bother reading my threads or responding?
Anyways, thanks to those who actually have something nice and helpful to say. I appreciate it greatly.

and the more you keep asking questions the more you show off how you are unable to search and make a decision
i guess this is the thanks for that help huh? because clearly i'm the one who who has the issues here right? all good man glad to see the advice went down the drain

Nah, I'm not saying your advice didn't help me out at all. It did. But I would like to hear from others as well. So that I can form a better decision.
Trust me, when I say thanks, I meant it. Ordering a set of wheels and tires is quite expensive. I just want to be reassured that everything is correct so that I don't end up with the wrong setup that I cannot return.
No need to chew my head off. and I'm not stretching tires because its the trend. I'm doing it for clearance purposes obviously. I don't like it all that much but if I have to stretch in order to make my drop work, then I will. That's why I keep wondering about going with 245 or 255 in the rear. I would prefer 255 if there's no rubbing issues.
Yes I'm getting falken 452's. Yokohama S-Drive cost a little bit more and I have not heard much about General's yet. What are wrong with Falken? My friend runs those and have no issues.

i would not stretch falkens 452s i have seen WAY too many stories of them bubbling or even ****ing up due to stretching
and see this is once again a reason why i said you haven't searched enough, i have repeatedly stated that generals are excellent tires especially for stretching they do run large but they are troopers, me and shane and several others guys who are stretching a good amount are doing it with generals
the reason once again why i said get your coils first is so you can get used to the height get used to driving that low and then order wheels and tires based on your height
for example if you go as low as i am those specs would tuck a good amount

Do not get falkens they have a history of shredding.. Generals are great for stretching.. Do 225/245 and run less camber and save your tires.. I can agree with eurodre though u need to really research.. I researched for at least a year before I came up with all my suspension mods and tire sizes.. I would listen to eurodre he knows his $hit..

Cool. I'll look into the General tires then or perhaps maybe Yokohama S-Drives for stretching then.
Eurodre, you mention that the generals run large? What do you mean by this. Are you referring to the sidewall?

tires run small, true and large
this means that for example if they run large they would be in a sense bigger than a tire that runs true or small when stretching
for example the stretch of a 245/35 on a 10.5 with a general is less stretch than the same specs on a federal tire or even nankangs

Ok I see. Because from the looks of 245/35/20 on the general that you have, it looks to be about the same as 255/35/20 on another brand.
When Cookiemonster was running 245/35/20 Toyo T1R's it looked a lot more stretched. Is this what you mean?

do your homework.. www.rimtuck.com peep that out!
edit: i would do 255 with +5 with a true to size tire or 245 with large size tire...
