Falken 452s or Continental DWS
Falken 452s or Continental DWS
I was debating between the two tires. My X is a daily driver and now looking to put back on my 19s for the summer. Any opinions between the two? Im looking for a longer lasting tire, spiriting driving etc. I dont do track days and do replace the 19s with my stockies for the winter.
DWS by far, the 452 is getting old quick! Convinced my buddy to get the DWS on his S/C'd RX8 for winter tires in the mid-a region, he loves them and is very impressed with how they handle all weather types.
Only thing I am not sure on is which one will last the longest. I am sure Neal from TireRack would probably agree with my quick opinion

neither, vredestein ultrac sussentas
best bang for the buck, cheaper and better quality and performance
had it on for a week and love it, made my falken fk452 feel like all season tires
paid 1600 for the falkens when i first got em a year and half ago, paid 900 for my vredesteins

just realised I misread the OP...DWS might be a better allseason performer and not a summer tire if you're looking for added summer performance. Seems like the top summer tire performers for the budget minded are the Nitto INVO, Hankook EVO V12, Vredestein Ultrac Sussentas and Toyo T1R. Read the reviews and then take your pick i suppose, but between the two you originially asked about, I still say the DWS over the 452.
