New Wheels

I just got 20" MSR Style 093 wheels put on my 05 coupe. The tires they put on them are Nexen7000s and the sizes are 245/35zr in front and 275/30zr in rear. Can someone please explain the reason for the different tire height?

our cars come with a staggered set up.

they within 3% of each other and within 3% of stock rolling diameter so you are running within safe sizes.

The different sidewall numbers are in respect to their widths, its an aspect ratio. If you look at the measured diameter/height, they should be near the same despite the 245 being a 35 series sidewall...its a very common rwd staggered thing to do. The G/Z technically prefers a taller rear tire because it comes standard with 225/45/18 and 245/45/18. The 245/45 is actually much taller than the front 225/45. Something to consider when you buy new tires/wheels, but it is hard to maintain that perfect factory % when plus sizing. You should be fine with most common sizing practices though, so enjoy the new wheels.

Would you mind if I asked how much you paid for all of it? I'm actually looking to put the same rims on my car and a set I found comes with those tires. Just wanted to know if they were any good!
