buying Hankook tires from Tire Rack

im going to buy some Hankook Ventus v12 Evo K110 OEM size rears soon. So far tire rack seems to have the best price ($163 a piece). is it worth it just to buy all 4 tires from tire rack since theyre offering a $50 rebate with the purchase of 4 Hankook tires until the end of may? Set of OEM size Hankook's with shipping is $665 - $50 would be $615 for the set of 4.

FYI, you have to file the rebate through Hankook, the tire provider more than likely will not provide the forms or the money up front.

Not sure what size wheels you have on your car but you should check out onlinetires.com. I bought the same Hankook tires and found them to be a bit cheaper on this website then the others I looked at. I did have to download the rebate from Hankook but got the money in a timely fashion after I filled it out and sent it in.

^ Onlinetires.com has great pricing but horrid reviews, which made me stay away from them.

^ Customer service issues generally, I found out if you call and they have it in stock you should be ok, but if they dont and try to cancel the order its hell. Google them see for your self.

Seems like a good deal for a well-regarded tire, and assuming you're not already running the Hankooks up front, you'll be better off with a non-mixed set of tires. That's only a little more than what I'll end up paying for 2 new rear Pilot Sport PS2's when I eventually switch to those. Please post a review if/when you get them mounted!

Discount Tire Direct has excellent customer service, great prices, and free shipping. Their customer service is as good as TireRack. TireRack is a great place also but I tend not to use them as much since they charge shipping plus tax in my state. For an order of tires that creates a big price difference.

I am not sure what size wheels you have but at Discount Tire a set of 4 of the stock 19" V12's shipped with "rebuild kits" for the TPMS sensors is $680.

Good luck! You can't go wrong using Discount Tire or Tire Rack. They are both great places to get tires.

Oh and FYI... You bleed black and gold for the wrong team

i plan on getting stock tire sizes. what are rebuild kits for the TPMS? i didnt even think i would have to mess with the TPMS when just changing rubber. Tire rack is still cheaper for me btw ($670 shipped) because apparently they dont charge tax for VA.

what black and gold are you talking about?
