Question Planning to powdercoat Rays next week, but what color????

Hey guys,

I am likely going to have my 19" Rays PC'd next week but i cant decide what color. I would really appreciate any opinions or info you could offer. I am torn between mirror black, dark bronze, gunmetal and gloss white. Everytime i think i have made up my mind i find another car with hotter colored rims. I should also mention that i have an 06 Diamond Graphite with stock sport suspension and i would prefer to keep it that way, which is why im not going aftermarket (usually wont look right unless lowered) May get spacers and lugs later (any reccomendations for what would look best with my color car would be appreciated)

I found someone to do it for less than $400 and repair some minor rash, not a bad price from what ive seen

I have been searching and found a few pics of other coupes with PC'd Rays but if anyone has pics please share!

Im sure this has probably been asked before but i have to ask again before i make a big mistake that i will regret

Thanks for the help!!!

Black or GM would look good but may I suggest you have them polish and leave edge of the lip un-coated so you have a contrast. That will also bring more attention to the wheels, that's what I'd do....

thats exactly what im going for, i feel like black and Gunmetal are kinda common but bronze and white are just different enough to look good. I just cant decide what would look best on my specific car with DG paint and stock suspension

I'd love to see Bronze. I've always wondered what it would look like on a DG.

has anyone pc'd the lip and leave the rest of the wheel the oem color the rays come in? that'd be pretty cool... maybe a black lip? it might give the car the look that it's riding on the spokes haha

Personally I love the color of the 370z Anniversary Edition's wheels. That dark gunmetal looks so sexy and if I get my rims powdercoated in the future, that's the way I'd go.

I wouldn't go white.
Black is good, but don't expect "Mirror" black... it can be done, but it'll cost a lot more than regular powdercoat.

GM or Bronze would be cool.

IMO don't go white - I just added Gloss Black PC wheels to my DG car today and it changed the personalty of the car 110%. My 12-yr old son and his friends were checking it out within 5-minutes of coming home. "your car went from plain jane to just plain BEAST"
