Looking at a set of G37 19's and want them in Black, but don't want to wait for a set to come up in the Classified section.

What is a reasonable price to expect to pay when powdercoating wheels?

 

buddy of mine just paid 75 a wheel a believe that was media blasting/powder coating white they turned out really good

 

Pretty much any time you get a powder coat it will include sandblasting. You can't powder coat on top of old paint, at least not very well. You need the surface to have an electrical charge, and the paint interferes with that. $60-$75 per wheel is about right.

OP, you'll be waiting a while for a good set of black G37 wheels, and even then you won't know how well they were painted. If you've got a set and you want them black, then get them PC'd yourself.

 

Thanks - Kicking myself in the a$$ as there was a guy on my local Craigslist who let go of his G37 19's in PC Black for $950 including basically new rubber -...someone snapped them up same day they posted.
