Alignment question

Alignment question

My car is a 03.5 Sedan with 350z suspension. When I had the stock 17s on my tires were bald for the most part and I went to get an alignment. My rear camber is -1.5 and -1.7 at the time. my question is now I am running 245/45 18 for about ~2000 miles, the overall diameter is slightly larger. I feel like there is a little too much negative camber then I would like. Would I be more successful at reducing it if I get a 2nd alignment done with my new setup?

i am going to the dealer tomorrow, can someone please give me a simple yes it might help or no it will be a waste of money to get another alignment.

You can specify any amount of camber [+ or -] you want within the range of adjustment, that each individual car provides.

The suspension is designed to have more negative camber on the rear than front but your car your money and your tires.

I get a precision alignment every 6-9 months from an outside expert on my Q.........took me a while and some training and some tips [$20] to get him to be precise.

Not sure talk to the dealer and have them check if your alignment is off.

In a simular line that Qtech is taking, rationalize your alighment specs as Infiniti has. Use the alignment specs for the coupe or the 350Z, both car's ride on suspension's that are lower then the sedan, Infiniti uses's differenct specs for them, so should you since your on the 350Z suspension.

Here are my specs, I recommend them, I tried more sedan like settings perviously, poor at the limit behavior was the result. At the limit behavor now is perfect.

Front toe in -.02" per side
Front camber (non adjustable of course)
left -1.0
Right -1.4 (very common for the right front to be a higher #)

Rear toe in -.03" per side
Rear Camber
Right -1.3
Left -1.3

I wanted to run -1.6 rear camber, but I was only able to get
-1.3

Are your front camber number with you sitting in the drivers seat?.........important to have alignment reflect reality as you drive.
