Re: JIC FLT-A2 Coilovers

They were my number one choice to equip my car. But, I've heard to many stories of reliability issues concerning the brand. Even if they can offer up blistering track level performance, the chance of expericencing my own problems at that price point is not acceptable to me. Do a search on my350Z.com find a member simply named John. He has the jics and plans on bailing on them. Their is also a member that has them and they are slowly failing on him, I did not memorize his username.

IMO, call HKS and see if the HKS Hypermax RS measures up spec wise, it is a coilover specifically created for track use.

Also look into the Buddy club racing spec coilover, it has the destinction of running it's rear springs on the rear dampner body, giving you preload adjustabliity, least that's the only possible way to explain their super low rear spring rate.

I have the JIC's

I LOVE THEM. Performance wise. Its unbelievable. Only problem i have with them is, that its really hard to adjust the rear dampening. But you have to take out the trunk lining to fix it.

I used them at autox, open track days etc. They handled very well.
