Where did you place wheel with the flat? In the trunk? I'm guessing it's reading off of that.

It can even read it when your tires are stacked in the corner of your garage One time I started my car, and let it idle to warm up, and the buzzer went off, and I was like, "Dude, I don't even have TPMS in my Work Wheels"...

Later on, I checked the pressure in the OEM wheels that I had stacked in the corner, and sure enough one of them was low... So I filled it up to spec, and put the whole wheel in my trunk, and drove around for 2 minutes for my light to reset, then put the wheel back in the corner of the garage...

I finally got TPMS installed in my Work Wheels... That proved to be an ordeal. I bought the iForged adapters, but those didn't work with my wheels, becuase wheels with big lips don't have dropped barrels, so the adapter stuck up too high. I had bought the Orange Tech sensors which are slimmer than the OE sensors, and the stems are removable... So the tire shop was able to strap them in using Ford Brackets, into the drop channel in my work wheels. So now I have working TPMS again....
