thoughts on ebay used tire super-stores?

i'm looking into getting some tires, but only for temporary use.
what do you guys think about getting used tires at ebay?
HERE is an example of a reliable shop (marotire) that sells used tires for pretty cheap.

If I were to buy used tires, I'd get close up pics, on everything, including the bead and inside of the tires. But that's just me. I don't want to recieve a tire and find a small a$$ nail in it. I'd rather personally inspect them.

no way....it is so easy to send a pic of one tire tread that looks good and then send an actual tire that is worse. Are you going to compare treads with a magnifying glass?

I wouldn't have to use a magnifying glass . Just make sure there aren't any nails or defects.

Ive bought tires from Maro Tire before and they are really great, they come EXACTLY as promised and they have pictures of every angle of the tire.

I bought used tires from an eBay store.. Everything was good for about 6 months.. Now I have a bubble in my sidewall.. I would just buy new tires..

yeah, better off buying new tires, I guess unless it's pretty temporary, to be on the safe side.
