ok guys im lookin to paint my rims soon i have the 19'' Rays im planin on painting them a satin black wanted to know a few things from the people that have painted there rims perferably them selfs not sent them out to get powdercoated

1.how did you prep you wheels?

2.what paint did you use?

3.how long have you had them painted?

4.how are they holding up in the weather?

Washed again

Sanded

Primer

2nd coat Primer

1st coat of Paint

2nd coat of Paint

Clearcoat


used Dupli Primer and 500F Engine block Matte Black Paint

i knew i was gonna get someone tellin me to search and trust me i did for a few hours before i wrote this post but thanks for the link anyways i'll see if theres anything in those threads that i may have missed in the mean time lets hear from some others and there wheels

 

I thought that was the point...to read what others think and did on all those threads. Oh well....
