3 weeks? Did you work on them for 5 minutes a day?

I could bang those out in less than 3 hours.

I thought I would bring this thread back from the dead. G35 wheels were always my favorite to paint. I needed to help OP out and explain the different types of paints available.
www.motostorm.com

Hypersilver paint finish. A more polished effect than the factory finish found on the G35 ,FX35 and FX45 wheels.

Hyperblack black chrome. I painted the wheels in the main picture at the top of the page. They were on my 2006 G35 coupe. The tsw nurburgring wheels were orginally a flat gunmetal.

Last wheel finish is the Motochrome chrome paint.

The hypersilver is similar to the stock wheels. Hypersilver is the same color but just a little more reflective(chrome like). You can dull it down if the finish is too mirror like. An 8oz is enough to paint 8 18" wheels. So you would still have half an 8oz left after coating a set of 4.

Black is the standard base color for the Hypersilver but if you change the black to a medium or light grey, it will yield a brighter final Hypersilver color. The particles in hypersilver are semi transparent, so some of the base color will show through.
