So I can't seem to find a straight answer. If spacers are installed correctly are they safe to drive on?

I have 25mm spacers for the front and 35mm spacers for the rear and I'm waiting to get them installed until I know if they are completely safe or not. If torqued in correctly and everything is installed right, are they safe to run?

safe to run. millions of guys have run them with no problems. some say it adds stress to your bearings and takes them out faster but i dont think that theory has been proven. bolt em on!

 

safe... i'd stick with name brand ones (kics, ichiba) and not ebay ones.

 

They are safe, but like HXS said.. no ebay or off brand ones. Stick with name brand and you're good to go. Make sure they are torqued to spec (85 ft/lb) before putting your wheels on.

 

Ran Ichiba V2's for a year (20mm/25mm) no problems, lots of opinions but seems to me, if you try and break em...the spacers may increase your odds...if ya drive like normal folk...yer pffine

I have H&R Spacers too. It's the DRM series. Judging from the sizes of your spacers, they are most likely hub-centric.

 

+1.they should be with those sizes. take a pic and post it up and we can tell you if they are or not

I saw a G that had spacers on it to where the wheels were flush againest the body, didn't get to ask him what size they were. My car is not lower, nor do I plan to. What size would be the way to go for a 2005 G35 Coupe, with factory Forged 19" wheels. Please share your thoughts? Thank you!

 

when i had my 19's at stock height I ran ichiba V2 size 20mm in the front and 25mm in the rear and loved it... i thought it was just about perfect but some people go bigger. just make sure to torque em down, mine started "walking" or loosening after the second week ~ once torqued down, I never had another problem

 

Run a search and you can see a bunch of threads of different size setups people have run and how they look. Personally I have 25mm on all four with my oem 19'' and I think it looks great. I was previously lowered on z-htechs and it looked very nice and I am now on coils and although it makes things rub more I won't give up the improved look of the flush setup.

I would recommend going with at least 25mm all around. If you don't plan on dropping your car very much I would even say 25mm front/30mm on the rear looks absolutely amazing. There was someone running that setup and if you search around I'm sure you can find his pics.

 

If it's the track series (teal box if they have different colors for different series) then yes, they are hubcentric. i've ran mine for quite a bit and no issues at all.

Once you get them on and drive a little, re-torque them again.
