I have staggered tires on my '04 coupe and I recently purchased Bridgestone RE960 Pole Position tires with a 5yr/40,000 mile treadwear warranty (prorated). Since I can't feasibly rotate these tires will I have trouble when the time comes collecting on this warranty? I don't think I have a chance of getting near 40K miles.
The warranty states that tires must be rotated every 5K but does not mentioned staggered tire sizes.

 

If you don't fulfill the requirements of the warranty you won't be eligible for reimbursement. The warranty only follows each individual tire, it doesn't apply as a set. You can rotate tires but that means having them dismounted from the rims and remounted on a different rim. That eats time and $$ and becomes an expensive pain in the butt quickly.

 

Yeah, I don't think it would be cost effective to do that. But these tires have a 400 treadwear rating so maybe I'll be okay. Any guesses on how many miles I'll get with average driving (no donuts)?

 

warranties only apply whe rotated every 6500-8500 miles. and proving it.
