Tire recommendations for my setup

I've read through everything yet still don't know the ideal non-rubbing, good ride, correct speedo/ratio, good look to get.

The picture attached is it in its current condition.

Anyways I got 18x8 and 18x9 rims for the car.

What sizes would be appropriate and recommended. I don't care about massive width, in fact 245 would be enough for the back and 265 would probably be overkill.

Thanks for your input.

Re: Tire recommendations for my setup

I think I'm going with
235/45/18's in the front
265/40/18's in the rear

According to my calculations these are almost the exact same dimensions as stock.

What do you guys think? Is 265 going to be ok (38mm offset) on a sedan on 18x9's?

265 should fit on a 9" rim and a 38mm seems like it would sit nicely with the fender. I have a coupe so I'm not 100% sure but the offset seems high enough.

Re: Tire recommendations for my setup

Yeah supposedly the 38mm is the best for our car.

I'll let you all know how it goes. I was really hoping to go with 255 but 255/40 is too small and 255/45 is too big, where as 265/40 is the exact dimensions of stock.

I'd actually be willing to go 255/45 if I could verify that the speedo measures are from the front wheels and not the drive wheels but I'd have to imagine it's from the rear. Does anyone know?

I'm running 255/40/19 all around. I need a new set up. Tires are to big in the front.
