Re: 5Zigen20" Hyper 5Zr's

Answers to Jedi:

1. The ride isn't too bad, when I first installed the springs I did not notice any difference. The wheels and tires combo, however, give a little bit of a harsher, flat tire kinda feel due to the low profile 30 and 35 series tires.

I will be adding Tein coilovers when my friend gets back from Japan.

2. It was really quick for the clear corner install, no removal of the bumper necessary.

3. Actually the G35 pedals and Z pedals are pretty much identical, I choose these so I can have the an "OEM" look, originally I had Razo pedals in my car but I just felt that the Z pedals look cleaner. The install took about an hour, the clutch and brake (as mentioned in other posts) was hell to install. The pedal definitely look as if they came with the car.

Thanks for the compliments.

I love your ride .. it looks fantastic man!!!

Honestly I found those rims on another g in cardomain and am seriously thinking about getting them too... without the rivets.

Do you know what the rim weight is each?
What is your rim width setup?.. whats the offset ?

Nice photoshop, I like the Hypers on the black G35!

The offset is +25 on the front and +38 on the back.

Re: 5Zigen20" Hyper 5Zr's

Your car looks great, one of the cleanest I've seen - I just had a couple questions I wanted to ask:

1) What are the rim widths that you used?

2) Where did you purchase your wheels/tires and were they reasonable?

3) How do you like the look of the 20's w/ Eibach's as compared to other coupes that have 20's but are not lowered?

Thanks for the answers and your coupe looks awesome!

Re: 5Zigen20" Hyper 5Zr's

Thanks bzabodyn

here's your answers:

1. 20x8.5 front; 20x10 back

2. Sponsorship for wheels through 5Zigen, Bridgestone SO3's $1100

3. I love the look of the 20's it fills the wheel gap. I definitely think the car needs to be lowered, this helps fill the gap and makes the wheels look bigger. Next week I will be test fitting the new Tein Flex Damper suspension kit so I'll probably lower the car a little more in the back. Eibachs are okay for a quick and inexpensive lowering.
