Hi guys, I have never lived in the snow, but I am getting out of town this weekend and found out there might be snow. Any suggestions on cables vs chains? Where to buy? I know snow tires are the way to go, but I dont live anywhere that I usually have to deal with it so I cant justify the price.

By the way I know it would be smarter to rent a car, but I want to enjoy the ride.
