Advice on lowering springs

Hey guys, I just got my Tein S-type springs (1.6 drop in front 0.9 in rear) and I'm trying to decide whether to install them or not. Lately, I've been scraping the bottom of my front bumper when going in and out of driveways, even though I try to be careful. Should I go for springs with a smaller drop (Eibach) or forget the springs all together?

Re: Advice on lowering springs

I've got the S-tech springs and they definitely increase the number of times I run into things. The front bumber is where I hit the most. The most annoying things are when I run into those parking bumpers and when I rub the bottom of my car on steep driveways.

The bottom of my bumper is getting really torn up and I don't even want to look under the car to see what damage has occured. It has even taken away some functionality of the car because there are a lot of places I can't take it because I know it will hit.

This is my first daily driver with lowering springs (had them on an autocross car, but that doesn't count). I think the car was pretty low to begin with and the S-tech drop is a bit much for me. I think the H-tech springs would have been a better compromise for where I drive.

You can't beat how great it makes the car look though!
