TPMS question

I put some new wheels on my car today that I picked up off craigslist. Previous owner told me they came off his 350z. Anyways, after doing the swap, no TPMS light came on. I have an '06 coupe with sports and premium package. I have only had my car for 6 months and just assumed it had it.

Is it possible it doesn't?

I am confused.

You need to get the sensors programmed to your car. The light won't come on until you drive about 30 minutes or so continuously. At least that's how it works on my car. I didn't transfer the sensors to my new rims.

maybe the previous owner of the G disable the light somehow. Or pulled a fuse and disabled the system all togther, maybe? I tired the PVC pipe trick. That works for local 5-10 mile trips (my daily commute), but when I drive more than 20-30 minutes straight, the light will start flashing. The sensors need to be moving as well as consistant pressure.

Haven't taken that long of a drive yet but I will post results when I do.

Also, I have higher road noise when breaking from around 20mph and down. After doing my research I believe it is because I don't have the hub-centric rings for my new wheels. Because my breaks feel great and were changed about a week ago and rotors refinished at dealership.

Any ideas on how to find out which ones I need or how to get them? The wheels are cheapo MSR 093 245/35/20 (20x8.5 +24) Front and 275/35/20 (20x10 +24) Rears like new Falken 452s all around. Got em for $500 to use the tires and hold me over till I buy coil-overs and tires so I can put my Volks on...

hubcentric rings have nothing to do with road noise. The rings help with install in getting the rims on the hub so they are bolted up straight and square. If anything, not having hub rings might cause the install to be off center, which would cause the wheel to wobble. Can't see how this would cause noise. Noise could be your tires or maybe your brake pads.
As for hubrings, the G (and most Infiniti/Nissan cars) have a 66.1 center bore. You'll have to search/google the outer, wheel bore for your wheels.

Thanks... Strange though, noise completely disappears after 25mph or so... Drives smooth throughout.
