Re: opinion on rim size
I personally prefer 21's. I've had 20's on 3 previous vehicles with no problems and on the more expensive vehicles very little difference in ride quality with a premium tire (michelin, dunlap, etc). The only drawback as far as I am concerned is you can't let anyone drive your car if you have bad roads. One bad pot hole or cross some railroad tracks to fast and you may have a bent rim but that also has a lot to do with the quality of the rim you buy, just like the saying goes, you pay for what you get!!

Re: opinion on rim size
The Michelin Pilot Sports will give you the best ride quality out of the performance tires of the larger plus sizes. Usually most tire stores advertise the 19's and 20's with Kuhmo or Nitto or Toyo in the odd sizes to keep the package price lower. I personally would stick with the premium brands. As far as rims are concerned, actually it depends on how much you want to spend but plan on spending more to have less chances of problems with fitment and longevity. I have had good experience with Momo, Antera, Dayton, etc, but there are a lot of other premium brands also. I'm contemplating on either some 21" Giovanna Drama's or some 20" Lowenhart BR5's. I've got my importer checking on some 21" Dronell's also because they stopped selling in the U.S.

plus you gotta take in account the extra weight of a 20" More rotating mass = slower accel when you mash the pedal. I've alwyas been a fan of the Volk line. Lightweight, strong, not really the wheel if your going for "Bling Bling" factor. The giovanna's are perfect for that ;-)
