Will 245/45-17 work on a 03 Sedan

Time for some new shoes and I'm thinking of going with 245/45-17's...will they fit on the stock 17x7 rim?

245s wont fit on a 7inch rim, it will fit a 7.5inch rim which is the smallest rim a 245 will fit on.

So the widest I could go on a 7" rim would be 225 or 235?

Go on tire rack choose a size that you want, select a tire and click the spec tab it will show you the rim width range needed for the tire.

Before you go wild with different sizes you also need to make sure they are not much smaller or bigger the OEM

I have 235/55/17 on OEM rims (5 years now), so you can also go taller with no scraping even with other adults riding. It fills the well up a bit too. The 215's were too small for my taste.

Would the 235/50/17 or 235/55/17 also work for the 06 sedan? My guess is yes, but I could be wrong. I currently have 215/55/17 right now and I roll 3-4 mph underneath what my speedometer says. I also think it looks small on the car, I really feel like the tire doesn't fill in the well.
