03 G35 Sedan Leather Tires

The guy at my local tire store tells me that the stock tires were 235/r17 (front?) and 245/r17 (rear?). The dealer installed new 215/r17s on all 4 tires before giving me the car. Is that acceptable? Anyone else running 215s and noticing any difference?

I saw on 6mt.net's FAQ that G35's normally have different sizes between the front & rear and that the tires are directional. However, in their spec sheet they say my car takes 215s all around...?

All these sources of info seem to disagree and I am quite confused. Can someone clear this up for me? Thanks in advance.

another way to check is a tire website like discount tires or tire rack. look up year, make and model and oem tire size should pop up.

Or look on the inside of your door since all the OEM specs are printed there.
