Biggest lip possible

So.. I try to make sense of all these sizes and offsets. I think I'm starting to understand what they all mean now but, what I want is the biggest lip possible in the rear of my coupe. I was thinking of going with a 19x10 but what is the best offset to get that won't rub? Also, is it hard to have the inner fender rolled to help them clear? Or will it screw up the paint?

Re: Biggest lip possible

Will you consider 4.5" lip for rear big without spacers and fender rolling? If not, go for wide body, I will get you 6" lip (^^)

Thank you.

Re: Biggest lip possible

I have 20"x10" and have a 5" lip in the rear. No cutting or rolling of the fenders. Tires are 275/35 20 Mich sport. Is that big enough?

Re: Biggest lip possible

I was thinking of getting GT-7's. I found a few people who were selling them. I'm just not sure what I want to do....

The bigger the lip, the more likely they will get bent!

Re: Biggest lip possible

The best info that I can give you...

Pimpinpearl has a 19x10 with a 275/35/19 and a +22 offset without any fender rolling or any shaving of the rear fender inner lip. He has about a 5" lip and it is very similar to my +25 offset.

I don't think you can go much larger than this if you plan on having a modest drop. IMO the rear doesn't need much of a drop at all if your tire is almost directly under the fender, but the fronts will need ~3/4" to look even with the rears.

John Kerry promises a $1000 middle class tax cut AFTER the Bush tax cut expires.
The Bush tax cut is ~$3500 per middle class family.
