16" 300zx wheels and tires on G coupe?

My brother's got a few extra sets of 300zx TT wheel sets lying around and I was thinking that I might throw them on for auto cross this spring. Riding stock right now but lowering over winter. I'm guessing these are going to fit just fine with hella fender gap but 16" tires are a bit cheaper. Anyone have pics of this or suggestions/opinions???

If they are just laying around why don't you put them on the car and post pix. You'll get a lot of YEY or NEY if that is what you want?

for auto-x, i can see that being an option. but i couldnt rock them on a daily. fender gap is going to depend on what size tires you run. if its only for a few hours of auto-x, what does it matter what it looks like?

Mainly, I'm just curious if anyone else done it and had pics. They're currently in storage in my dad's garage so it'd be a hassle to go dig them out just for a picture.

The offsets seem to be consistent with G wheels (+45 for the 16x7.5 and +35 for the 16x8.5) but not sure about the backspacing. I assume you're putting these on a 5AT and not a 6MT? Because I'm pretty sure they won't fit over the Brembos on a 6MT.

2004 might work as you still might have the smaller rotor sizes. As said above, the Brembo package needs 17" and bigger (if that's what you have).

If they fit (offset and dia clearance), it might be a decent option as these wheels are pretty light.

Eh, they're not all that light for their size. They are cast and are about 16-19 lbs each. There are definitely lighter 16" wheels out there, but you can't beat the price for sure.
