Tires...G35X

Well, this week in a pinch I had to go out and get some new tires for my G35X due to time constraints I did not get a chance to do much research on brands etc. I was going to go with the Toyo Extenza's 215-55-17-93V but I had heard these were not the best tires wear wise. So I opted for Michelin Energy MXV4 S8's. I have had Michelin's in the past and have had good luck, but I have been looking at some reviews on the Michelin Energies and what I have been reading has not been good. So I was wondering if any of you are using these tires on your G's and what you think of them. They were very expensive, tires alone came to just over $900.00 Canadian.

Canadian Tire was having a sale on General Tire's Arctic altimax tires.

They were $129 a pop for 215/55 R17.

Really good tires from what I've heard and read.

But I'm broke so cant afford them.

Yea, I may buy tires from Crappy Tire but no way in hell they are going to install them for me! I just dont have time to put snows on and go through all the BS of buying steelies for the snows and storage for the summers. I hope I made the right choice with the Michelins though!

You can get the General altimax on www.tirerack.com for $106 per tire plus shipping but seeing you live in Canada you might be better off getting them there because shipping might not be to cheap.
