I'll give the Invo's their due on even tire wear on cambered wheels due to the two different compounds. But since you mentioned "race" and "rain", I think there are better alternatives for your dollar.

Best tire I've ever had were Michelin PS2's on OEM19's but were WAY too expensive for my monthly canyon runs. There were great until about 4/32 when they started to go downhill fast as far as grip goes.

I'm on Falken 425's now and they do well. Nowhere near the grip to PS2's, but for daily driving, they're more than acceptable.

Continental ExtremeContact DWS just put them on my coupe and wow what a big difference. But most of all I got them because I'm a commuter and not for performance. low resistance friction and great all season tires. Nothing but great reviews I've read before I got them and I now know why. 245/35/19s in front and 285/35/19s rear

I had those for awhile... looked great and good grip for me in the rain. However as they wore out they got LOUD as hell!!!

I was satisfied with them, however i don't think i would buy again...

Currently running the Hankook v12's - i read a C&D review where they finished second and at the price point they're at, i figured i'd give them a shot. They've been great for me and have lasted awhile - grip is good even on my SC'd G... all in all, i am very happy with these tires

Ran the Nitto NeoGen's before - not a fan of these tires at all, didn't last long, were loud and I just hated them pretty much all around...

just picked up a set of Vredestein Ultrac Sessanta tires, 245/35/19 for the front and 275/35/19 for the rear. by looking at the reviews, they seem to be on top. Best bang for the buck

Great prices at 281.00 installed (rear only). Great performance for the price. Made by bfgoodrich/michelin. Sold through discount. At less than 120 per tire plus fees its worth the shot.
