Oh and, I have +5 on 8.5 with a 265 on the back of the Z, rear fenders are untouched and I could definitely go lower offset, camber in spec.

+5 is equal to about +17 on 9.5 so I know those couple mm will fit easy.

Edit; raking is ghey

When stretching it goes differently, stretched tires are less noticeable when they have been gheyed. Once they are fat, you can tell.

Plus, have you seen a 285/35? That tire is a savage. Using that over a 285/30 would be silly.

Agreed, just trying to make my point though, that it is perfectly fine for the OP to run a 285. I would never run anything that tall but for some people, it is there cup of tea.

And yes, i mount 285/35/19's on vette's all day (completely different animal, i know. but just for argument's sake)

Just looks wrong lol

I would never run the same sidewall front to back unless it was within 10mm in tread or aggressively stretched.

Ok, I understand 285/35 is too much now. Reviewing these posts I've come to a conclusion of running 255/35 F and 265/35 R. So does this mean I should do -3 degrees camber all around or can I go a bit more positive. Also, I want the front tires to protect the front rim from pot wholes. Im worried more about the front cause thats where all the weight is. Will 245/40 be a good look with the 265/35 in the rear, or should I stick with the 255/35 F.
Dont forget I will be running 31mm converters all around!

+45 offset Front +33 rear. I told VMR I want the Rear wheels to come out a bit more than the fronts so this is what was suggested

Wait you ordered them from VMR, knowing that they are a BMW/VW bolt pattern?

ya, thats why i got the 31mm converters. At first I was gonna buy 25mm all around but I couldn't find this specific bolt patter conversion in that size. Besides, I think it will be quite a beefy look with the 31mm's.

Yea man, you should have really bought wheels in the right bolt pattern and proper true offsets.

245/40 and 265/35 would work fine.

ok, sounds good. Last thing - what about the camber?? I want a slanted look but I dont want to go too much where my tires will be eaten away much faster.

the front's you can't pull much, so when you lower it let that go natural and it should come in around 2ish if you go somewhat low.

The rear's natural camber will pretty much match the rear as well. just over 2 on say a 2" drop.

Camber for our cars pretty much goes, 1 degree for ever inch you lower the car. So if you slam it hard you could pull about -4 degrees.

Im gonna install megan arms F&R so i will adjust both to be at about -2.1 to -2.3 not sure yet, ill figure it out. Thanks a lot man, now I know what to do when i get these on . and if you're wondering why I got VMR's, I seen this guy's thread https://g35driver.com/forums/media-s...west-look.html (I got different model wheels)
The price is amazing and the quality is pretty good. My bro has VMR, running fine for a good two years now.
Best of all, NO one has the wheels I got on a G, well I haven't seen them yet at least.

Guys, I just came back from shop and they cut my rear fenders. The fronts though he said were already rolled and if they cut them the Mud guard protectors won't be held by anything. I'm worried that the front rims will rub- what do you guys think?? I'm dropped on eibach pro kit and I will be installing 19x9.5 wheels w/31mm spacers all around. Tire size will be 245/35/19. Will I be fine? He said I would but I don't think so!
