Not really!
mine comes on more than I like.
I am running my winter wheels. 235/45/18 studdless snow tires. I can hardly get agressive with the throttle, doing so causes the slip light to pop on. I leave VDC on so I know when im buring up my tires

I borrowed loaner wheels once with stock 18's. The rear was slightly shorter than the front due to tire sizing and it threw off my VDC immediately when I started driving on it. Kept flashing and cutting power to the wheels.

OP what are your wheel sizes?
Yes I agree, but running a 255/35/19 on a 9.5" rim isnt going to be much different than a 255/35/19 0n a 10.5" rim in regards to overall diameter...not enough to mention. unless you are doing an uber stretch, width wont play much of a factor

We're all happy you voiced your opinion, but no one has ever told me my 275/35s look like crap. The difference between 35s and 30s gives my 10.5" Volks that much more protection against chuck holes I have kind of a raked stance and that's what I like along with being able to back up to most curbs without messin up my exhaust. Thanks for your opinion anyway.... looks like crap??

The tire size does, I'm not talkin' **** about your wheels lol

Like you said, it IS raked. If that's what he wants that's fine.

And yea, the thing with wheel width is a difference in millimeters...

I have run some wacky set ups on my car but I rarely drive with my VDC on.

Definitely not something else. I literally take off the wheels I had that was working fine with VDC, put on the loaners, and the VDC starts slipping.

For me, it just worked out that way after I looked at what some other people run on the same rims, diameters, sidewall height and width, plus my desire to have similar sidewall profiles -- pretty straight, not stretched and not bulging either. I like this setup: 245/35F 255/35R (on a sedan) but wouldn't hesitate to go 245/40 on the back.

I'd say you have some serious VDC issues then.

I had a hard time getting my car to slip at all with any of the weird sizing I've put on it.

Tyre is the European term for Tire and "plz" is an internet slang term for Please.
