yeah the front wheels don't look wide enough. they look sunk in under the fender. they could come out alittle bit. imo they look good for the most part though.

 

The rims are solid... I think that's a rims are perfect size... Especially with my drop... I like the wheels tucked in the fenders... And Isn't that the ING+1 front lip...?

hum... i think its hte nismo front lip.

ALso yes his rims are way too tucked in.....cough cough.. DC change them!!! He needs more lip. AND No that does not mean put spacers on them!!! :P

Looks like a JT front lip. The blue trim on those wheels makes them look cheap.

Those are not Blue trim, all 5 spokes are SBC color and the Blue color is hiding behind the spokes (NOT between the spokes). It uses the the light to reflect the blue color (under strong sun shine, it's purple color). If you don't see the wheels in person, you will NEVER understand this special technic from Japan - I guarantee it.

The above Picture is actually a BLUE color wheel (but you can never tell). Here you go, when you flash the light, it turns to BLUE.

I used the Type R because it has more spokes to reflect BLUE color.

AJ,

Amistad Type R come with 4 Colors:
- Silver Polished (sold, shown as the following pic #1)
- Black Polished (never came to the US, shown as pic #2 at Amistad Japan)
- SBC (as on the SLK55)
- Deep Blue (as in our show room, the 16 spokes are SBC color with Deep Blue color blended in at the back of the spokes)

Since your car is Black, maybe you shall try Black Polished or SBC (^^)
